The Heart of Bryn contains a series of squares and centres accommodating office buildings, local trade and eateries as well as a possible residential area. New lanes for pedestrians and cyclists are also created and spring from existing urban fabric. By connecting the area to its surroundings, a potential for Bryn to become a central, urban centre on the east side of Oslo is created.
New and stronger connections are established across barriers that surrounds Bryn with the purpose of linking the area to the city centre of Oslo and Hovinbyen. An inner loop structuralises important features at Bryn such as urban and green spaces with different activities and important infrastructural nodes.
